Barletta Corsa Review
The Barletta Corsa was released in 2021, and has since turned into one of the best selling models in Barletta’s lineup. The Corsa has been called the “sports car of the pontoon industry”, and for good reason. It features a sleek exterior design with muscle-car styling and capacity for large engine packages. Many feel the Corsa has the best designed helm in the industry to give the feel of a sports car matching the exterior styling. It comes standard with 26” pontoon logs and the heaviest construction of any boat on the market today.
In Barletta’s lineup of 5 trim levels or series of boats, the Corsa falls in the mid-upper tier. In many ways, it is very comparable to the Lusso series which is one level up in trim but falls in at a more aggressive price point. The construction of the Corsa is exactly the same as the Lusso, and many of the available features overlap as well. If you are looking for a sporty pontoon with a large engine that can handle rough water without breaking the bank, the Barletta Corsa might be the perfect boat for you.
Barletta Corsa Exterior Styling
As we mentioned above, the Corsa was designed to have a sporty, aggressive look. The muscular exterior rail pattern certainly achieves this goal. Combine that with chrome badging, LED docking light inserts, an aggressive sheer line and optional arch tower, and the Corsa looks fast just sitting still. Color patterns include single color or a multi color with insert that can be arranged in any combination. The rails can be either standard silver or the highly-popular blackout rail package with bimini framework to match.
Barletta Corsa Helm
Many feel the helm in the Corsa is the best design in the industry today. This starts with a raised helm platform standard with color coordinated marine mat on the floor of the helm. As opposed to many pontoon helms which are designed in the doghouse shape which doesn’t allow much room for your legs, the Barletta Corsa helm angles back in underneath the steering wheel to give you extended leg room. This is a key feature for comfort while driving, especially for those taller captains. The raised helm also gives the driver a higher vantage point and helps you see over the heads of any passengers that might be sitting in front of you. Very few boats have raised helm as standard features due to the cost, but Barletta has made this standard.
For 2023, Barletta also made the Simrad GO7 a standard feature on Corsa models. This is a GPS navigation/chartplotter with tons of great features such as depth, downscan, engine information on DTS models & much more. Additional features on the Corsa Helm include an upgraded steering wheel, sporty high-back captain’s chair, wireless phone charger & USB input.
Barletta Corsa Sport Arch
One option that is becoming more and more popular on pontoon boats is a sport arch. The Barletta Corsa is the first level of model that offers this feature. Lots of people ask what the point of this option is. In many cases, people want this option because it really does transform the look of the boat from the exterior. It is a perfect match for the Corsa to give it that extra sporty look. The Corsa arch folds down effortlessly for low clearance areas and is a 1-person job. All you have to do is unscrew a knob on the back of each arch base and then gently pull the arch down from the front until the stopping point – It is counter balanced so no worries about it falling down without a second person holding the front. This arch comes standard with a bimini top that mounts to the arch and folds backwards by simply pulling a cord to extend it all the way and then securing it with two quick connections on the framework.
This arch is not just for looks though. The second purpose of the arch is as a functional tow point. You can pull wakeboarders or skiers from the pylon on top of the arch for a higher tow point to give that extra pop up out of the water. Barletta also offers optional tower speakers for the arch.
Barletta Corsa Sizes & Floorplans
Barletta offers the Corsa in three different size platforms – 21’, 23’ & 25’. This can be a little confusing though in how long the boat really is compared to what it is called, and every manufacturer does it differently so let us explain. On the Barletta Corsa models, the size indicated in the models name is the length of the tubes on the boat. A 21 has 21’ long tubes, 23 has 23’ long tubes and so on. The actual deck length on the boat, however, is actually two feet longer than the tubes. This is because of the large extended rear platform on Barletta Corsa models which is exactly 2 feet longer than the tube length. Therefore, a Corsa 21 actually measures 23’ long (not including the engine). The Corsa 23 measures 25’ long, and Corsa 25 measures 27’ long.
Barletta offers 3 basic floorplan platforms with variations of each. These include the quad lounge, ultra lounge and ultra entertainer. The variations are determined by whether you have dual captains chairs or a single captains chair for the driver with extended side lounge in place of the second captains chair.
Barletta Corsa Ultra Lounge
We briefly touched on the Ultra-Lounge floorplan above, but this layout stands out so much that it deserves it’s own section. The Barletta Ultra Lounge is the most innovative and functional seating layout in the industry. The Ultra Lounge is a large lounger found at the rear of the boat and it converts to 5 different configurations. Those variations include: bench seat, back-to-back bench seats, rear facing lounge, forward facing lounge and full sunpad. You can even get the Ultra Lounge on the Entertainer Model (bar boat) in a slightly narrower version.

Aside from the significant features mentioned above, the Corsa has lots of other small standard features that are definitely not standards industry wide. A few of the more notable items include:
